Private, one-to-one help with your own recordings: a second opinion on the difficult calls, and help with what the results mean for your report.

A second opinion on your own recordings.

The analysis is where a survey gets decided: whether a faint call is a barbastelle or noise, and which of two cryptic Myotis it is.

A course cannot look at your files. Coaching does: you send the sequences and Nils tells you what he sees, and what he would and would not report.

Two ways to work.

Monthly subscriptions. Change tier at the end of a billing cycle, pause for the off-season, or cancel any time.

What coaching does and does not cover

Europe and Western Asia: identifications are reportable. You may use them in your own reports.

Other regions: Nils helps you approach a difficult ID, develop your project and interpret your results, but does not give reportable identifications. The submission form asks for the region and labels these sessions as guidance only.

How it works

  • Confidential. You accept a short NDA before your first upload. Your recordings, notes and review videos are seen by Nils and no one else, and uploads are deleted 90 days after the session closes.
  • Turnaround. Recorded reviews arrive within 5 business days (the clock pauses during announced fieldwork).
  • Live calls are booked here, shown in your time zone. Cancel up to 24 hours before; a later cancellation or a missed call uses the session.
  • Fair use. After 3 missed calls or unused sessions in a row the subscription ends at the close of the billing period. Pause for up to 3 months instead.
