The Academy is being rebuilt

We are moving the courses to this new site, so they cannot be bought at the moment. The course pages show what each course will include.

Expected reopening: 15th November 2026

Bat Acoustics Academy

Bat Acoustics Academy: Global

Core modules I–IV with the Global mystery set.

What's included

  • Bat Acoustics Academy: Core

Modules I–IV: recording, measuring and identifying bat calls, and what to do with the results.

    Syllabus

How it works

  • 9 months of access from the day you buy, extendable from your My learning page.
  • A short questionnaire closes each module and opens the next.
  • Mystery calls: real recordings you identify as far as the evidence allows. The uncertain ones are marked by Nils Bouillard.
  • A certificate anyone can verify. It does not expire with your access.
